LED Light Therapy

LED Light Therapy

The lumineo LED device is a revolutionary device that is the first to deliver 6 different wavelengths to combat many different skin issues. it can be offered as a stand-alone treatment or it can be added on to advanced aesthetic skin treatments, to accelerate the results.

It is a non-invasive, painless and non-surgical treatment with no downtime, making it a very popular treatment. It still provides a huge difference to the skin in the long run as it regenerates the skin from within working from a cellular level. No skin care on earth can penetrate as deeply as LED.

Technical Information

The extra cellular matrix is made up of glycosaminoglycan’s (mainly composed of hyaluronic acid), collagen and elastin. The LED works to stimulate fibroblasts that will regenerate these important components.

  • LED also works to improve oxygenation, blood circulation and aid in lymphatic drainage
  • Light energy from the LED penetrates beneath the skin and is absorbed by the proteins in the cells beneath the skin. These cells release nitric oxide, the body’s natural vasodilator, after just 10 minutes of the treatment blood flow is increased to nerves and other tissues, this then boosts circulation for several hours. The blood will work to feed the skin with vital nutrients.
Red light – 635nm

Red light – 635nm

This powerful ‘clinically proven’ wavelength penetrates deepest into the skin to accelerate healing, reduce inflammation and regenerate the extra cellular matrix. It is a highly anti-inflammatory wavelength that can help to reduce and control rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis and breakout-prone skin.
